The new A380 and how Ollie got to fly it!!
Our plane from Singapore to Sydney was one of the lovely new A380s (double decker plane as Ollie called it). The Stewards asked Ollie as we got on if he would like to see where the captain sat at the end of the flight. Think it helped that he was wearing his own captain's hat.
When we arrived in Sydney they took Ollie into the cockpit and gave him the real captain's hat to wear while he sat in the pilots seat. One very excited boy to say the least!!!
Back to hot, hot Singapore
As you can tell by the photos there is very little requirement for clothes in Singapore - well at least for the kids anyway.
Ollie had so much fun with his friends Isla and Luke. They went swimming in the sea (check out all the oil boats in the background), prawn fishing and mountain biking on Brett Greens's bike.
We were both very sad to say goodbye to Anna, Brett, Isla, Luke and Brett Green after our lovely two days with them all. Especially as Isla and Ollie were married while we were there - see the photo of husband and wife walking arm in arm. Wifey had to hold onto hubby's hand on her shoulder to make sure it stayed there. Anna and I were laughing so hard at this very real example of a marriage.

Last entry from the UK
Ollie and I helped out at the Hertford Market yesterday. It was a hot 32 degrees so the strawberrys and raspberrys were selling quite well. I decided Ollie needed a haircut so we did it 'Merryleas' style and he had Lisa (Grandpa's hairdresser) cut his hair out by the farm shop.
For our final dinner we all went out for a curry at the local Indian restuarant. It was a lovely evening and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Bathurst Arms - North Cerney
This is where we stayed the night we had away in the Cotswolds. I took Ollie's bike and soccer ball with me. Unfortunately the ball ended up in the river (probably in the Thames now) but he had lots of fun riding around the garden bar on his bike - upsetting the patrons. I'm not sure how fussed they were when he yelled over to me (about 50 metres away) that he needed to go poos. I was very embarrassed and tried to explain why you don't just yell that out when other people are around.
Ollie also round all around Circencester Park the following day with his baby giraffe attached to the handles bars - we did get some strange looks from the locals then too.
Hire cars & The Cotswolds
I ended up getting a hire car and after managing to navigate myself from the rental place to Nazeing thought I could tackle somewhere further afield.
Ollie and I set off for the Cotswolds and while we were there we stopped off at Cotswolds Wildlife Park - saw White rinos, zebras and camels (not quite what I expected to see in the middle of England). Ollie got to ride on another train around the wildlife part (think that must be about 5 now) so he was happy.
