Singapore III

While we were in Singapore there was a big oil spill due to two boats colliding. The kids were very interested in having a look at the damage and we went on a little walk to see the damage it had caused already. The smell of oil/diesel from the crash was quite overpowering.

Singapore

Here are some photos of the first day in Singapore. The heat/humidity was pretty intense so we had to spend quite a bit of time in the pools etc. Also check out the Singapore Version of a skate-park. Bit nicer than the one Ollie's use to in Karori. Ollie had a lot of fun playing with Isla and Luke.

Oli The Wax Head!

VIDEO OF OLI SURFING: CHECK IT OUT DUDES!!

Submarines and HMAS Vampire

Today we went to the Maritime Museum and got to go into a submarine. I was a little bit scared at first but after I got to look out the Periscope I felt a lot better. I begged Mum to buy me a Captain's hat.

Sydney Opera House & The Baby Proms show

Mum and I went to a show at the Sydney Opera House - it was called La La's Big Live Band and was part of the Baby Proms season. I got up and danced and sung just like all the other little aussies.

The Powerhouse Museum in Sydney

One of my favourite places so far. I've been there twice already and never seem to get bored of playing in the construction site.

Playing Twister with the boys

Ollie's first game of twister - with Uncle Gareth and Aunty Leash's brother Mark. Ollie was quite bendy compared to the adults.

Surfing

Uncle Gareth took me for my first surf today. I can't wait to grow up and become a 'wax head' just like my Uncle.

Sydney

First day in Sydney - 4.50am wake-up due to time difference. Uncle Gareth is being very understanding - so far!! Was a real tourist today and went for a swim in Manly - with my clothes on. Mum had to drag me out of the water 35 mins later as my teeth were starting to chatter.
